First time hearing Intense get so classical and jazzy

It must be 12-14 years ago I met Bukem and Conrad. They were gearing up for a set here in Limerick City and my dad was setting up with the lads. All the while the 10 year old Yung fella was cracking jokes and I distinctly remember Conrad was floored by one of them, burst out laughing. Got a copy of Logical Progressions signed that day and had always hoped to meet him again. R.I.P big man, a DnB icon ♥️

As much as I enjoy listening to these old shows, I also feel even more resentment towards these DJs. They were only ever interested in pushing their own careers and the focus on playing only dub plates really screwed a lot of the artists. A lot of the tracks you heard them play, didn’t come out for sometimes a year, or even longer, if ever. That’s why so many great artists like Wax Doctor, and Artemis/Shogun just ended up disappearing forever. I’ve got a few friends who were producers - not mentioning and names, who ended up despising all the DJs and just disowned the scene because of the way they were treated. Shame.
